We searched far and wide (and have learned much along the way) and have discovered wonderful products and met wonderful people, each with their own, unique story. And we’ve taken things a step further by putting together unique collections of products for each stage of your dog’s life.

Jeanne is an entrepreneur with a long history of marketing and graphic design experience who stumbled into the pet product review industry after being frustrated with dog toys. When her two labs, Henry & Jess tore into their toys within seconds she found herself spending lots of capital to fund their habit. “I once bought an expensive, totally ‘indestructible’ toy made out of a fire hose for Henry. It took him 10 minutes to put four holes in it. I took it back.”

After much legwork and research, she found not only fantastic chew toys but so much more. “There are so many wonderful, unique products on the market for dogs today with most being born out of a similar frustration. More often then not, they are not in mass marketed stores but available online or in small, boutique shops around the country.” 

“Our goal at Henry’s Backyard is to review these unique, high quality and innovative products on the market for dogs and report on it.” Jeanne’s advisory board and testing team assist in finding and testing dog products uniquely suited for each stage of a dog’s life. She is fast becoming the definitive resource for helping dog owners find the perfect products for their pets.

Jeanne lives in Richmond, VA with her husband, two lovely little daughters and of course, her pups, Henry and Jess.
